Well a horrible display and rough start to the season for the Reds. I believe Tottenham looked like a force to be reckoned with. The problems I saw were we started off too defensively and let them take the early lead and it set the tone for the rest of the match. Babel, Lucas, and Voronin looked asleep, and the only player that I thought played a good match was Benayoun, he created more chances then the other 3 did the whole game and he was subbed. Glen Johnson had a few good runs, he should be a good asset, but our midfeild and tactics hurt us. Also, the injuries did not help as everyone saw Torres limping on that ankle the whole game he was not 100% and did not even get a shot off, and Skrtel and Carragher were just coming off injuries to just injure each other in the match. But none the less Tottenham deserved to win that game, and I do not take that away from them. Couple of big non calls from the ref at the end there, but I believe we shouldn't have put ourselves in the posistion to need them. All we can do from here is to learn and move forward. YNWA
